Toyota has finally unveiled its most awaited low-cost small sedan car, Etios, at Auto expo 2010 in New Delhi. The car has been classified as a city car which can seat 5 people. With this car, a giant car manufacturer has entered a volume based business like Tata.

Toyota is expecting to sale over 65,000 cars in the first year. The car will be available in two versions: 1.2 liters and 1.5 liters petrol engine versions. The company will focus on Indian market to meet their target about the sales of Etios.

According to Kazuo Okamoto, the vice Chairman of Toyota, company is very excited to finally unveil the concept of Etios, which has been newly developed especially for the customers in India.

Etios has more to do just than an Indian market. Actually, more than 2000 Indian and Japanese engineers had worked together for more than 4 years to develop Toyota Etios.

The price of Toyota Etios has not been revealed yet. But, it is expected to be priced around 4,00,000 INR.
